I had the pleasure to photograph a delightful cottage this week in Woolsthorpe By Colsterworth. Woolsthorpe is well known for being the birth place of Sir Isaac Newton.
This property looked over towards the property in which he was born, which is now in the care of the National Trust –
Sir Isaac Newton was born in this modest manor house in 1642 and he made many of his most important discoveries about light and gravity there in the plague years of 1666-7. You can still see the famous apple tree that inspired his thoughts on gravity from the bedroom window.
